Malaria is a disease caused by a plasmodium parasite, transmitted via bites of female anopheles mosquito..

Malaria also known as Plasmodium infection is very common and easily contacted.

It’s a life threatening disease but the funny thing here is,, MALARIA is neither a virus nor a bacteria..

It’s partly a communicable disease cuz during pregnancy a pregnant mother can transmit the disease to her child, and in rare cases most times it can be gotten via blood transfusion but it’s not spread from one person to another,,

It’s a curable disease if diagnosed and treated immediately,,,

Roughly 1.5million cases of this diseases are recorded every year
